The housing situation in Berlin and almost all other major European cities is still very threatening for people with low incomes and continues to come to a head. Against this background, the documentary film Auszug aus observes two people in Berlin who were evicted in late 2019 and early 2020.
The events and the intrusion of state power into private space are not filmed from a neutral point of view, but from the perspective of the protagonists. The camera remains present even when the police invade their homes and forces the protagonists to leave.
